Layla Boyd, MSW
Child & Adolescent Behavioral Specialist with Animal-Assisted Therapy Focus
Layla Boyd has a Master’s in Clinical Social Work with a focus in mental health. Her passion and specialty is working with kids, teens, and adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, and depression. She has more than sixteen years of experience helping children and families manage life circumstances in a productive, therapeutic way.
Layla is an avid lover of animals and the outdoors. She has experience in animal-assisted therapy and is developing a program to incorporate her therapy dog into sessions with both children and adults. Her approach is warm, grounded, and practical—blending evidence-informed care with creative, supportive tools that help clients feel safe and understood.
Layla and her husband of twenty-six years reside in Harlem, Georgia, where they have enjoyed raising their three children. As a family, they love traveling and spending time in nature. Layla is currently pursuing her licensure, further deepening her commitment to serving children, adolescents, and families in the CSRA.
